We are looking for a Senior Banking Systems Analyst to join our innovative banking technology team in Warsaw, Poland. In this pivotal role, you will analyze, design, and implement advanced banking systems to improve operational efficiency, enhance service delivery, and meet evolving market demands.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, engineers, and data specialists, to ensure that systems are optimized for performance, security, and compliance.

What you will get to do

  • Lead the analysis and design of core banking systems, ensuring they align with business goals and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business analysts, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system solutions.
  • Drive system integration efforts, ensuring seamless communication between different banking platforms and technologies.
  • Perform detailed assessments of existing banking systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Provide strategic insights into improving system architecture and workflows, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies, driving initiatives that enhance system security and data privacy.
  • Mentor junior analysts, guiding them in the adoption of best practices in systems analysis and project execution.
  • Manage technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials to support system implementations and updates.

What you will need to succeed

  • 6+ years of experience as a systems analyst in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Expertise in core banking applications, payment systems, and banking technology infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in designing and optimizing complex systems, with a focus on performance, security, and compliance.
  • Solid understanding of banking regulations and industry standards, including Basel III, PSD2, and GDPR.
  • Hands-on experience with system integration, database management, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to translate technical information to business stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

You might also have

  • Experience with banking software such as Finastra, Temenos, or Oracle FLEXCUBE.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum environments for iterative development.
  • Background in data analytics and business intelligence tools for decision support.
